Biography:
The daughter of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Yolanda Hadid, Gigi Hadid was born on April 23, 1995. After being discovered by designer Paul Marciano she began modeling at 2 years old for Baby Guess.
Gigi signed with IMG Models in 2011. She and Marciano continued to work together, and she was the face of a Guess campaign in 2012. She has been on several magazine covers since, including Vogue, Teen Vogue, Elle, Harper’s Bazaar, Sports Illustrated, Vanity Fair and Galore Magazine.
In Gigi’s time off from in front of the camera, she took on her New York Fashion Week runway debut in February 2014, walking in Desigual’s show. Since then, she has been walking on the runway for designers including Marc Jacobs, Versace, Elie Saab, Miu Miu, Balmain, Diane Von Furstenberg, Tommy Hilfiger, Fenty x Puma, Chanel, Michael Kors, Jean Paul Gaultier, MaxMara and Giambattista Valli.
In December 2015, Gigi made her debut appearance at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show. As the face of Tommy Hilfiger in 2016, she and Hilfiger codesigned a collection called Tommy X Gigi which was shown on the runway during the fall 2016 New York Fashion Week.
Gigi dated singer Cody Simpson in 2013 but the two separated in 2015. From October to November 2015, she was linked to Joe Jonas. She began dating Zayn Malik a few weeks after splitting from Jonas, and they have been together on and off ever since. Us confirmed in April 2020 that Gigi is pregnant with her and Malik’s first child.
