Former Spanish king’s lover Corinna Larsen: I was threatened that ‘the end would be like Diana’. Corinna Larsen, the lover of former Spanish king Juan Carlos, who fled his country on corruption charges, made a shocking claim. Larsen said he was threatened by the ex-president of the Spanish intelligence CNI because of his relationship, giving the message “The end would be like Diana”.
Six years ago, the ex-king of Spain, Juan Carlos (83), who passed the throne to his son, fled his country and started living in a luxury hotel in Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates. German-born Danish businessperson Corinna Larsen (57), who was married to Juan Carlos despite being married for a while, made a claim that shook the world agenda.
In Spain, former police chief Jose Manuel Villarejo claimed that General Felix Sanz Roldan, former head of the national intelligence agency CNI, threatened Corinna Larsen with the words “Your end would be like the English Princess Diana”. That is why Roldan filed a “libel suit” against Villarejo.

Corinna Larsen attended the previous day’s hearing of the defamation case in Madrid, Spain’s capital, via video conferencing.
Corinna Larsen, who has lived in Monaco since 2008, made the following allegations at the hearing:
“My love affair with ex-king Juan Carlos ended in 2012. But my office in Monaco was raided by CNI agents because of the sensitive documents I received about the “financial and business deal” of the king and royal family.

“One month after this incident, I was threatened directly by Roldan in a hotel in London, on the orders of the king, in May 2012. General Roldan gave me various instructions to follow. He said that if I do not follow his instructions, he will not be able to guarantee the life safety of me and my children. When I went to my house, I saw that a book about Princess Diana’s death was left on my coffee table. The next day I was called from an unknown phone number. The person on the phone said to me in Spanish, “You know, there are many tunnels between Monaco and Nice.” This situation showed the seriousness of the danger and threats I was in. “
Roldan, who accused Villarejo of slandering him, denied the accusations that he threatened Larsen, while the case continues.
A ‘SUSPICIOUS’ TRAFFIC ACCIDENT
Princess Diana left in 1995, after having an eventful marriage with the Crown Prince Charles of England, and divorced on August 28, 1996. Princess Diana and the Egyptian Arab businessman Dodi al-Fayed, whom she had a love with, died on August 31, 1997, when the car they were in Paris hit the wall of a tunnel. The French driver who drove the vehicle also died. Thereupon, allegations that Diana and her lover died in an accident fictionalized by British intelligence were made. At the end of the investigation, it was announced that the incident was an accident.
