Police who shot and killed black American Marcellis Stinnette during a traffic circle in Chicago, Illinois, USA, were dismissed. Waukegan Police Chief Wayne Walles said the unidentified police officer committed “many policy and procedural violations”.
Walles killing police 19-year-old black Marcellis Stinnette and injured his girlfriend Tafara Williams in the driver’s seat, violating the procedures.
Walles did not provide any further information on the matter. He stated that the said police officer was dismissed.
In the statement made by the Waukegan Police Department the police who shot the young couple are of Latin origin.
