New TV series from Nicole Kidman: I Know These Things to Be True

Nicole Kidman announced that she will star in the drama I Know These Things to Be True, which will be based on Andrew Bovell’s theater play.

Nicole Kidman is preparing to return to Amazon screens with a new series. The 53-year-old Australian actress announced that the name of her new project is I Know These Things to Be True.

Based on Andrew Bovell’s play, the series will focus on the story of the couple Bob and Fran Price, whose lives changed by the unexpected decisions of their adult children.

The drama will explore how love for family can be transformed with the resilience of marriage. “I can’t forget my experience of watching Andrew’s play at the theater in Sydney,” Kidman said. Andrew’s play is brilliant and well suited for transforming text into a series. With the belief of Amazon, under the guidance of Jennifer Salke (Head of Amazon Studios), and with an extraordinary production team, we have high hopes that this could happen.”

Kidman’s two series projects, The Expatriates and Pretty Things, are currently streaming on Amazon.
