How is Paella made?

So how is paella made, what are the ingredients? Here are all the curiosities …

MATERIALS

• 2 medium sized onions
• 4 cloves of garlic
• 2 medium tomatoes (succulent and juicy)
• 5 tablespoons of olive oil
• 200 grams of jumbo shrimp
• 200 grams of mussels
• 200 grams of cleaned squid
• 3 baby octopuses
• 1 tea glass of white wine
• 1 gram of saffron
• 1.5 cups of rice (short grain rice) (preferably Senia, Bomba or Bafha type)
• 3 glasses of water (preferably fish or vegetable stock)
• 1 teaspoon of salt
• 1 tea glass of peas
• 1/2 teaspoon of freshly ground black pepper
• 1/4 bunch of parsley

PREPARATION OF

  1. Chop the onion into small cubes and finely chop the crushed garlic.
  2. Cut the tomatoes you have peeled before, into small cubes and carefully remove all seafood and rinse in plenty of water.
  3. Heat the fish or vegetable stock over low heat, depending on your taste.
  4. Heat half the olive oil in a thick, wide-bottomed pan. Saute the onion and garlic in olive oil.
  5. Wash the rice in plenty of water and take it into the pan after draining. Then fry the rice by adding the tomatoes and mixing them in between.
  6. Add white wine and saffron and grind over high heat, add half of the hot water, add salt and pepper, and cook in a closed pot.
  7. After heat the remaining olive oil in a separate pan, sauté all the seafood one by one over high heat.
  8. Take the seafood in the rice pan and add the pea grains and the remaining hot water to it. Cook all the ingredients on low heat until the water is absorbed.
  9. You can serve the juicy seafood paella with lemon slices on a serving plate.
