Zabaleta left football and retired

Argentine football player Pablo Zabaleta, whose contract with English Premier League team West Ham United expired in June. He left football.

The 35-year-old defender announced on his Twitter account that he has ended his 18-year active football career. Zabaleta, who started with the football country’s San Lorenzo team and later transferred to Espanyol.

He won the Premier League two times with Manchester City, which he played between 2008-2017.

Having spent the last 3 seasons at West Ham United, Zabaleta played 515 games and scored 14 goals during his career.
