Anti-Netanyahu protests in Israel continue for 7 months

The weekly protests held against Prime Minister Netanyahu for 7 months in Israel have been continuing in various cities of the country. Protesters called for Netanyahu to be tried as soon as possible during the demonstrations.

According to the Israeli Public Broadcasting Corporation (KAN) report, around a thousand demonstrators gathered in front of the Prime Minister’s residence in West Jerusalem and protested against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

According to the news of Yediot Ahronot newspaper, the protesters voiced that the government’s policy in its fight against Covid-19 was wrong and called for Netanyahu to be tried as soon as possible.

Similar protests were held in Tel Aviv and the northern Caesarea cities.

In the weekly and sometimes twice weekly protests that have been going on for about 7 months, the demonstrators claim that the government has failed to fight Covid-19, while demanding that Prime Minister Netanyahu, accused of corruption, be tried immediately.
