Daily number of cases in the new type of Coronavirus (Covid-19) outbreak in Spain. It reached the highest level with 20 thousand 986.
The Ministry of Health announced the total number of cases yesterday as 1 million 5 thousand 295. Today updated as 1 million 26 thousand 281 with an increase of 20 thousand 986.
Within the European Union, Spain is the first country with the number of cases exceeding 1 million in Covid-19.
In Spain, the number of deaths from Covid-19 has increased by 155 in the last 24 hours.
The Ministry announced that 570 people died in the last 7 days from the pandemic and the total number increased to 34 thousand 521.
More than 21 thousand deaths from Covid-19 were recorded in elderly nursing homes.
The government also advises the public “not to leave the house unless there are compelling circumstances”.
STATUS IN PORTUGAL
The Portuguese Ministry of Health announced that 16 people died in the last 24 hours from Covid-19 and 3,270 new cases were detected. It was noteworthy that the number of daily cases, which has been constantly increasing in Portugal, has exceeded 3 thousand for the first time.
