According to the statement made by the Russian Coronavirus Infection Control and Prevention Center, the number of cases reached 800 thousand 849 with the detection of Covid-19 in 5,811 more people in the last 24 hours.
In the last 24 hours in the country, the number of deaths increased by 154, to 13 thousand 46, and the number of healing rose by 8 thousand 444 to 588 thousand 774.
The daily rate of increase in the number of cases across Russia was announced as 0.7 percent.
In the capital Moscow, the number of cases increased by 645 in the last 24 hours to 236 thousand 616, and the number of deaths increased by 11 to 4 thousand 375.
In the statement made by the Russian Human Health and Consumer Rights Protection Service, 299 thousand tests have been carried out in the last 24 hours and the number of tests performed to date has exceeded 26 million 300 thousand.
In Russia, the first Covid-19 cases were detected on January 31, and the first Covid-19-related death occurred on March 19. Measures were taken in the country since the end of March.
Measures were loosened in regions where the number of cases was low in the country. However, mask and gloves were required in closed and crowded environments.
The curfew that started on March 30 in Moscow was lifted as of June 9.
