Pedophilia operation in Australia: 44 people caught, 16 children rescued

44 people who allegedly committed child sexual abuse detained in operations in Australia. It reported that 16 children saved from harm in the operation.

Australian Federal Police (AFP) said in a statement. In operations coordinated by the Australian Child Abuse Center (ACCCE). It reported that 44 male suspects, aged between 19 and 57, arrested for possessing and producing child abuse materials.

Stating that the operations carried out after a year-long follow-up on images shared on the internet, AFP. It stated that 16 children saved from harm in the operation called Molto.

Commissioner Reece Kershaw also stated that all 350 charges against those caught were related to the possession or production of child abuse material. “Capturing criminals and bringing them to court is only half the battle.”

Kershaw emphasizes that ACCCE is committed to saving children from sexual harassment. “Our researchers (images) are scrupulously looking for clues by looking pixel by pixel, and they never give up. It is an offense to view, distribute or produce child abuse material. Children are not commodities, and AFP and its partner organizations work around the clock to identify and prosecute criminals. ”

Commissioner Kershaw added that AFP saved 134 children, 67 of whom from other countries, from abuse in operations between July 2019 and June 2020.
