Lazio started with a victory in the Champions League, beating Borussia Dortmund 3-1 at home.

Lazio hosted Borussia Dortmund in the first week of the UEFA Champions League Group F match.

Lazio took the lead 1-0 with Ciro Immobile in the 6th minute and made the score 2-0 with Marwin Hitz’s own goal in the 23rd minute.

The first half ended with a 2-0 lead by Lazio. In the 71st minute, Erling Haaland took the stage on behalf of Borussia Dortmund and moved the situation to 2-1.

In the 76th minute, Jean-Daniel Akpa-Akpro scored Lazio’s third goal. The Italian team left the field with a 3-1 victory.

In the other match of the group, Club Brugge defeated Zenit 2-1 on the road.
