Deaths from Covid-19 increased in 30 states of the US

It was reported that in two-thirds of the states of the USA, there was an increase in the number of people who died due to the new type of coronavirus (Covid-19).

According to data from Johns Hopkins University, there has been an increase in deaths from Covid-19 in 30 states of the USA and in Washington in the last week.

The Center for Disease Control and Protection (CDC) also warned that the faster-spreading type of Covid-19 could be encountered in most cases until March in the USA. New York Governor Andrew Cuomo asked for travel restrictions to be imposed on countries where the faster spreading type of Covid-19 is seen.

Cuomo cited England, South Africa and Brazil as examples of these countries. The number of people who died in the USA due to the Covid-19 pandemic increased to 407 thousand 216.

According to the “Worldometers” website where Covid-19 data were compiled, the number of people detected with viruses in the USA was 24 million 483 thousand 901.
