British Prime Minister Boris Johnson stated that the new type of Coronavirus (Covid-19) seen in the country may be more deadly.

The Government’s Chief Science Advisor, Patrick Vallance, stated that there are currently 3 different Covid-19 species seen in England, South Africa and Brazil.

The new strains are “definitely more alarming” and have “features that could mean they are less susceptible to vaccines,” Vallance said, but nothing can be said for certain at this stage.
