According to the first determinations, 3 people lost their lives in the morning bomb attack in Mogadishu, the capital of the East African country of Somalia.

The attack targeted the convoy of Ali Jarere, Deputy Mayor of Garasbaley District, according to the information obtained by the AA reporter from security sources. Jarere and 2 people were killed in the attack. Security forces were sent to the region after the explosion.

While there is no official statement from the government about the attack, no one has claimed responsibility for the attack yet.

The terrorist organization Al-Shabab frequently organizes attacks targeting security forces and civilian settlements in Somalia.
