Chinese company gets BioNTech’s vaccine

Chinese pharmaceutical company Fosun Pharma has agreed with Biontech to purchase 100 million doses of vaccine. Fosun Pharma was also responsible for conducting the 2nd stage tests of the BioNTech vaccine in China.

A new cooperation announced in the Coronavirus vaccine. It announced that the Chinese pharmaceutical company Fosun Pharma will purchase the Covid-19 vaccine produced in partnership with BioNTech / Pfizer.

BioNTech reported that they signed an agreement with a Chinese pharmaceutical company to supply 100 million doses to China. Fosun Pharma and BioNTech in the development of Biontech vaccine in March; announced that they would collaborate in China in the preparation and marketing of clinical tests.

The agreed 100 million doses of vaccine will produced in Biontech’s facilities in Germany. BioNTech’s mRNA-based “BNT162” vaccine has received approval from health authorities in both the USA and the UK. Britain started applying the vaccine last week and the USA this week.
