A joint statement came from France, Germany and Britain, after Iran started working to produce metal uranium. The three countries called on the Tehran administration to fulfill its obligations in the nuclear deal.
Spokespersons of the foreign ministries of France, Germany and England made a joint written statement on the issue. It was expressed that Iran is deeply concerned about the production of metal uranium.
The statement stated that Iran’s metal uranium production has no civilian credibility and has potentially serious military implications.
It emphasized that within the framework of the nuclear deal, Iran made a commitment not to produce metal uranium and not to conduct research on this issue for 15 years.
Iran informed the International Atomic Energy Agency about the start of research and development for a nuclear fuel type. And announced that they will use natural uranium to produce metal uranium in the first stage.
