Prime Minister Johnson expressed satisfaction with Biden’s decision to rejoin the Paris Agreement on climate change.
The two leaders discussed the fight against climate change with the important challenges facing the world due to the new type of coronavirus (Covid-19) outbreak.
Johnson and Biden reaffirmed their commitment to common values for promoting human rights and protecting democracy with the NATO alliance based on the UK and the US’s long-standing cooperation in security and defense.
The leaders also discussed the benefits of a possible free trade agreement between the two countries and agreed to meet if circumstances permit.
