The Danish Krone (DKK) has been pegged to the Euro since 1999 through the ERM II mechanism. Denmark opted out of the Euro but maintains a fixed exchange rate within a narrow band. Danmarks Nationalbank intervenes to maintain the peg. Denmark is AAA-rated with a strong welfare economy and one of the world's highest living standards.
