Everything you need to know about MARAAZ Currency and our tools.
General
Exchange rates on MARAAZ are updated every hour from official sources including the European Central Bank. The timestamp showing (e.g., "09:44 UTC") indicates when the rate was last fetched.
Yes, completely free. No registration, no account required, no hidden fees. We are a free reference tool — not a money transfer service.
The mid-market rate (also called interbank rate or spot rate) is the midpoint between the buy and sell prices of two currencies. It is the rate banks use among themselves and the fairest reference rate. Your actual transfer rate from a bank or exchange service will differ due to their markup.
Rates
Banks and money transfer services add a markup (usually 0.5%-3%) to the mid-market rate to make profit. MARAAZ shows the pure mid-market rate — the benchmark rate. You can use it to compare how much markup your provider is adding.
We display reference rates for Bitcoin (BTC), Gold (XAU) and Silver (XAG) as reference values. These are not live crypto exchange prices — for live crypto trading rates, use a dedicated exchange.
If all our live data sources are temporarily unavailable, we fall back to our last cached rates. You will see "offline" in the source indicator. This is rare and rates are typically only a few hours old.
IBAN
An IBAN (International Bank Account Number) is a standardized international numbering system for individual bank accounts used in international transactions. It includes a 2-letter country code, 2 check digits, and the domestic bank account number.
Use our free IBAN Calculator. Enter the IBAN number and we will instantly verify the country code, format and MOD-97 checksum. We support IBAN formats for 80+ countries.
Mortgage
The mortgage rates shown are typical market reference rates based on publicly available information. Actual rates offered to you will depend on your credit score, loan-to-value ratio, lender, and current market conditions. Always consult your lender for a personalized quote.
