Winners of the 2020 Emmy Awards announced

The Emmy Awards, known as the Oscars of television, found their owners for the 72nd time this year. Jimmy Kimmel’s award ceremony at the Staples Center in New York in front of a very small audience. The winning names were remotely connected from their locations in different parts of the world. Schitt’s Creek series, with seven awards in Primetime. Broke a record by winning a total of nine awards in the comedy category. Succession won five awards. Catherine O’Hara received her first Emmy for her role in Schitt”s Creek.

Zendaya made Emmy history as the youngest person to win Best Actress for her role in the TV series Euphoria.

HBO’s superhero series Watchmen nominated for 26 categories. Won with four Emmy awards.
