Virgil van Dijk: I believe there is a reason for everything in football as in life

Liverpool’s defender Virgil van Dijk made statements about his injury and treatment process. The Dutch player said he would do his best to get back.

Virgil van Dijk, who was injured in the Everton match due to the uncontrolled movement of goalkeeper Jordan Picford and left his place to Joe Gomez in the 11th minute, made a statement on his Instagram account.

The star player said, “I’m focused on healing completely right now, and I’ll do my best to get back to it as soon as possible. Despite my disappointment, I am confident that I will go through the healing process well. With the help of God I’ll return better, fit and strong than ever before.

I believe there is a reason for everything in football as in life. It’s important to try to stay upright in good and bad times. I am ready to challenge this challenge with the support of my wife, children, family and everyone in Liverpool.

Thank you to everyone who supported them with their messages. It means a lot to my family and me. I will do whatever it takes to support my teammates. I’ll be back.”
