Velvet revolution 1989 history

The 1989 events, also called the “Velvet Revolution”, when the communist regime was overthrown in Czechoslovakia.

Revolution was commemorated on its 31st anniversary by lighting a candle.

Crowd gathered to commemorate 1989 events in Prague, Czechia capital.

It also protested against the new type of coronavirus (Covid-19) restrictions.
