US’s deadliest week

In the USA, 15 thousand 966 people died in the last week due to coronavirus, 106 thousand people were hospitalized. At the same time, the new case record was reached with 1.4 million Covid-19 cases recorded at the end of seven days.

United States, deadliest week of corona virus outbreak. Recorded with an increase of 44 percent across the country last week.

Over the past seven days, the US has set new records on all three scales measuring the severity of the outbreak, according to the COVID Monitoring Project.

With 15 thousand 966 Covid-19 deaths who died in the last seven days, there was a 44 percent increase in the number of deaths compared to last week. New cases also increased by 27 percent to 1.4 million, and those from C0VID-19 hospitalized. It stands at an all-time high at 107,248, up 8.8 percent from the previous week.

More than three thousand Americans died from the virus two days in a row on Thursday. The number of people who died repeatedly exceeded the deaths in the Normandy Landing and the September 11 incidents.

Experts warn that it is necessary to be prepared for a higher death toll, as the record for new cases across the country continues to break.

Case increases are seen in all of the Northeast, South and West regions of the country. 144 thousand cases were reported last week in California alone.

In the USA, 15.7 million cases and more than 292 thousand virus-related deaths have been reported so far.

In the Midwest, which initially caused this third rise of the epidemic, new cases are starting to fall, while cases in the Northeast, South and West are rising rapidly. Hospitalizations in most midwestern states began to decline, but increased in 26 other states.
