United Arab Emirates, which recently signed a “normalization” agreement with Israel. UAE reportedly made an official application to the United States to purchase F-35 fighter jets.

It noted that the UAE officially submitted its application one week after the agreement with Israel.

According to the report, officials of the US Department of Defense and the Department of State refrained from making statements about “potential weapons sales.”

It cited that they gave assurances that Israel’s weapon capacity superiority would be maintained.

Israel, on the other hand, stated that it uncomfortable with the sale in question.
