Microblogging platform Twitter announced that the famous hacker Peiter Zatko has taken office as Chief of Security.

Twitter brought Peiter Zatko, one of the known hackers of a period, to an important task. Twitter hired the hacker nicknamed “Mudge” as cyber security officer. Gave the micro blogging platform Zatko broad authority to suggest changes in structure and applications.

Zatko is expect to take over management of core security functions after 45 to 60 days of inspection.

Zatko’s career in the cyber world started as a hacker. Zatko was among the leaders of Cult of the Dead Cow, a hacking group that became famous for releasing Windows hacking tools in the 1990s.

Zatko, who later joined the white hat hackers. He worked at DARPA and Google, which are consider the research and development center of the US military. Before Zatko was transferred to Twitter, he was working at the electronic payment enterprise Stripe.
