Trump leaves a note to the Oval Office for his successor Biden

Donald Trump, the 45th President of the USA, left a note in the Oval Office for elected President Joe Biden, who will take over from him today.

While the US is preparing for Biden’s inauguration ceremony today, the details of Trump’s departure from the White House have also been revealed.

According to a statement from the White House Press Office, Trump left a note for Biden on the table in the Oval Office, in keeping with tradition. No information was shared regarding the content of the letter.

It was also stated that Vice President Mike Pence left a similar note to Kamala Harris. Trump had not attended Biden’s inauguration and had left the White House early in the morning for Florida.

Joe Biden will officially become the 46th president of the United States by taking an oath at 12:00 local time under heavy security measures in the capital Washington.
