They made electric cars out of rubbish

22 students at Eindhoven Technical University in the Netherlands, plastics collected from the sea, plastic bottle waste. It has revealed an electric vehicle that can reach a range of 220 kilometers from household waste.

University students in Eindhoven, the Netherlands, uncovered a new vehicle. The vehicle, made of plastic from the sea, plastic skewers and household waste, named by students Luca.

The yellow two-seater vehicle has sports car seats. The vehicle, which can reach a speed of 90 kilometers per hour, can reach a range of 220 kilometers if fully charged.

Van Etten for the vehicle designed by a group of 22 students in about 18 months. “We see potential in waste,” says Production team member Matthijs van Wijk, “We hope that auto companies will start using waste materials.”
