Been together for 79 years and totaling 215 years old. Julio Mora Tapia and his wife Waldramina Quinteros, entered the Guinness Book of Records as the world’s oldest married couple.

In Ecuador Julio Mora sneaked away from his family to marry his beloved man. Waldramina Quinteros, on a cold February day.

The couple married in La Iglesia de El Belen, the first church built by the Spanish in Quito on February 7, 1941.

They are still together and happy despite the 79 years that have passed. Waldramina Quinteros is 110, Julio Mora is 104.

According to the Guinness World Records, there is no other couple in the world total 215 years old.

The couple, both retired teachers, lives in Quito, Ecuador’s capital.
