The 74-year-old American actor confirmed on Instagram that he will star in Suicide Squad 2. “I’m working for Suicide Squad 2 with a great director James Gunn, and I think it’s going to be an amazing job,” Stallone said.
“I’m proud to be included in this film,” says Stallone. “I can’t tell anything more about the movie, you have to wait and see. But it will be worth the wait ”
Director Gunn also announced the news of working with Stallone on social media, “I always love working with my friend Sylvester Stallone and our Suicide Squad work today is no exception. “Sylvester is an iconic movie star, but most people have no idea how great an actor he is.”
Gunn previously appeared in the Marvel movies Guardians of the Galaxy and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2. He managed Stallone was cast in the second movie.
