In England, the speed limit was fined while the vehicle worker Simon Cooper was on the line. It reported that Cooper crossed the speed limit of 70 on the M4 highway in South Gloucestershire at 856 mph (approximately 1377 km) on May 26.
“This is impossible. I am confused,” said Cooper, who was stunned by the penalty for allegedly exceeding the speed limit at 856 mph. Speaking to the press, Cooper said, “I thought it was a joke. I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw 856 mph.I don’t think they’ve made such a fast-moving vehicle yet ” In a statement after the incident, the police announced that Cooper exceeded the speed limit with 85 mph, and that the figure was added too much as a result of a technical error. Cooper was fined for breaking the 70 mph speed limit by 85 mph.
