Island nations in the Pacific, Samoa, Kiribati, New Zealand and Fiji, entered 2021.
The first New Year in the world celebrated in Samoa and Kiritimati Island (Christmas Island) in Kiribati. Island said “hello” to 2021.
Following Kiribati and Samoa, New Zealand and Fiji entered the new year.
2021 was greeted with magnificent fireworks displays in Auckland and Wellington, New Zealand.
The Sky Tower in Auckland was illuminated by special New Year light shows. Celebrations were also held in the harbor area in Wellington.
After New Zealand and Fiji, Australia will say “hello” to 2021.
On the other hand, American Samoa in the South Pacific will enter 2021.
