The world-famous American Actor Ryan Reynolds bought Wrexham, the Welsh team in the English League of Nations.
Deadpool franchise star Ryan Reynolds is now a boss in the football world. The American actor, together with Rob McElhenney, became the owner of the Welsh football team Wrexham AFC. The news announced yesterday on the team’s official Twitter account.
The two actors bought the football team through their company, RR McReynolds, after fans approved the sale. Reynolds and McElhenney featured in the video post on the team’s Twitter page.
“Thank you for the trust of the Wrexham fans for believing and trusting us,” McElhenney said in the video. “We are the trivial part of the job and ready to work,” says Reynolds. Reynolds further added, “This team is the 3rd oldest in history. Together we will make Wrexham a strong team.”
This is not Reynolds’ first investment in the non-cinema space. The famous actor has an alcohol and telephone company partnership.
