Rolling Stones unpublished song since 1974

World-renowned British rock band Rolling Stones shared their previously unreleased song, Scarlet 1974, in their upcoming new album.

Scarlet is in the transition period in the group’s career. After the lead guitarist Mick Taylor, who left the band after five years, the band spent a long time in auditing many musicians while recording the Black and Blue album released in 1976. While names such as Wayne Perkins and Harvey Mandel were on the album, musicians stretching to Page and Jeff Beck, as well as Irish blues guitarist Rory Gallagher, also played with the band. After the auditions, the chosen name was Ron Wood, who has continued with the group until today.

Mick Jagger reminded that the origins of the song were in Wood’s studio at his home in Richmond outside London, and that Stones ‘classic It’s Only Rock N’ Roll appeared in a different session with Wood and David Bowie in late 1973. About Jagger Scarlet, “I remember first playing this improvisation with Jimmy and Keith in Ronnie’s basement. It was a wonderful session. ”

Goats Head Soup will be released by Universal Music on September 4 in a multi-format and deluxe version.
