“I think she will not want to do it, but to be realistic, she will come to a point where she will leave everything to Charles,” said the royal correspondent Jack Royston.
Queen Elizabeth ascended the throne in 1952 and saw a total of 14 prime ministers, from Winston Churchill to Boris Johnson.
Queen Elizabeth has celebrated her 94th birthday in recent months.
