President Trump announces candidate for US Supreme Court Judge

US President Donald Trump announced the name he nominated to replace US Supreme Court Judge Ruth Bader Ginsburg, who passed away last week.

Trump’s candidate was yet another female judge “Amy Coney Barret”.

Trump announced 48-year-old Amy Coney Barret as a candidate for Supreme Court Judge.

Amy Coney Barret, born in New Orleans, graduated from Notre Dame University Law School in 1997 with 1st place.

Nominated by Trump as Judge of the 7th District Court of Appeals on May 8, 2017. She took office on October 31, with the approval of the senate.

However, Trump’s appointment to such an important position in such a short time before the presidential elections causes criticism especially from the democrats.
