Pope call for vaccination: I believe everyone should be morally vaccinated

Pope Francis, the religious leader of the Catholic world, said he plans to vaccinate against the coronavirus next week. The 84-year-old Pope urged everyone to get vaccinated to protect not only themselves but others as well.

Pope Francis gave an interview to an Italian television. “I believe everyone should be morally vaccinated,” he said.

The Pope used the phrase “this is not an option, but a moral choice”.

He said that by not getting vaccinated people are not just gambling with their own lives or health, it also endangers the lives of other people.

“I don’t understand why some say it’s dangerous to vaccine, it’s a suicidal refusal, I can’t explain that,” he said. “You need to get vaccinated today,” he added.
