Championship team Derby County parted ways with coach Phillip Cocu. Phillip Cocu’s contract in Derby County terminated by mutual agreement.
Cocu, who started working as Derby’s manager in the summer of 2019, was at the head of the team in 65 matches in all lanes. Derby said in a statement: “Derby County Football Club and manager Phillip Cocu have parted company by mutual agreement with immediate effect. Assistant manager Chris van der Weerden and specialist first team coach Twan Scheepers have also left the club by mutual agreement.
Derby, who started the season under the direction of Cocu, ranks 24th and last with 6 points in 11 matches.
