Oscar criticism by Halle Berry

Halle Berry has rebelled that no black woman other than herself has won the Oscar for 20 years.

Debates continue about the fact that both the nominees and the winners are white-dominated names at the Oscar Awards. Which are considered to be the most prestigious awards of the American film industry (Oscar is very white). Halle Berry joined the controversy that continued, alleging that the Academy did not give enough nominations to black players.

“SHOULD BE CHANGED”

Berry, who won the Best Actress award at the Oscars with the character Leticia Musgrove in Monster’s Ball (2001), noted that similar success was not repeated. “It’s been 20 years. It’s sad that I’m still the only black actress to win this grand prize. Something must have changed,” said Berry.
