New government formed in Kazakhstan

After the parliamentary elections held on January 10 in Kazakhstan, it was decided to establish a new government under the chairmanship of Askar Mamin.

Kazakhstan President of Kazakhstan Qаsım-Jomаrt Тoqаev signed the decree on the formation of a new government in the country. Accordingly, after the parliamentary elections held on January 10, Askar Mamin will take office as prime minister again in the newly formed government in the country.

In the government, where Alihan Smailov, Roman Sklyar and Yeralı Tugcanov have been re-appointed as deputy prime ministers, Muhtar Tileuberdi will simultaneously serve as deputy prime minister and foreign minister. While Aset Irgaliyev was appointed as the Ministry of National Economy of Kazakhstan, Serik Shapkenov was appointed as the head of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection.

The 16 ministers who maintain their place in the government are listed as follows: “Minister of Foreign Affairs Muhtar Tileuberdi, Minister of Interior Yerlan Turgumbayev, Minister of Defense Nurlan Yermekbayev, Minister of Energy Nurlan Nogayev, Minister of Information and Social Development Aida Balayeva, Minister of Agriculture Saparhan Omarov, Minister of Justice Marat Beketayev, Minister of Education and Science Ashat Aymagambetov, Minister of Health Aleksey Tsoy.
