Mercedes team boss Toto Wolff announced that they will begin new contract negotiations with Lewis Hamilton, who completed the last 4 seasons as Formula 1 champion, in a few days.

Mercedes boss Toto Wolff noted that there may sometimes be places where both sides will not be satisfied during the negotiations. “The best deal for every party is that one will go without being completely satisfied.”
Hamilton and Wolff decided to address the previously raised contract renewal issue after the pilots and brands won the championship.
