Corona virus was detected in a group of seafarers who went hunting in Argentina. It is stated that the team, who stayed at the sea for 35 days, had a test before sailing and all of them were negative.

An interesting Covid-19 incident took place in Argentina, located on the continent. A group of sailors from the town of Ushuaia allegedly caught the corona virus after 35 days away from the land.

It was stated that the seafarers who went fishing had a Covid-19 test before opening and all of them were negative.

A new type of corona virus was detected in 57 of the team of 61 people staying at sea for 35 days. It was stated that the test results of the remaining two people were not announced yet, while the test of the two people was negative.

All seafarers were quarantined, but officials announced that the outbreak was being investigated. “We can’t explain how the symptoms came up yet,” said the head of the district hospital, Leandro Ballatore.

Hospital officials said they were trying to extract the chronology of the outbreak from the ship’s diary.

While 103 thousand cases have been identified in Argentina, 1903 people have died.
