British Prime Minister Boris Johnson in his speech at the G20 Leaders Summit. To overcome the new type of coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic and to combat climate change. It called for collaboration and more ambitious steps.
Johnson addressed the leaders at the online summit hosted by Saudi Arabia. Noting that an unprecedented year has experienced due to the pandemic. Johnson “Only if we join forces and work together, we can beat the coronavirus and get out of this crisis better. Our fates are linked.”
Noting that there have been encouraging developments in vaccination in recent weeks, Johnson. “In Britain, a possible vaccine had promised the world accessible to everyone. I want to see together also supported the efforts of the G-20 countries.”
Recalling that Johnson announced a 10-point plan for the “Green Industrial Revolution” on weekdays. He emphasized that a greener future can only be possible if the world’s leading economies take more ambitious steps to prevent climate change.
Pointing out that a climate summit will be held next month, Johnson said leaders of the G-20 countries will overcome the pandemic. He called for ambitious commitments to protect the world and to leverage shared capabilities and resources.
