Joaquin Phoenix to portray Napoleon in new movie

Two Oscar-winning actress Joaquin Phoenix, after her success in the Joker. He will star in the film that tells about the life of Napoleon Bonaparte. Ridley Scott is the director of the movie.

Oscar-winning actor Joaquin Phoenix has signed on to a joint project with master director Ridley Scott. Phoenix will portray Napoleon Bonaparte in Kitbag, the biographical film about the French emperor living in the 19th century. The movie Kitbag will focus on Napoleon’s origins and his volatile relationship with his wife, Josephine.

Phoenix, who won an Oscar for best actor for last year’s Joker movie. He nominated for the Academy for his performances in Walk the Line, The Master and Gladiator.

The movie in which he will portray Napoleon is expect to be as effective as the Joker.

Filming for the movie Kitbag will begin next year. The project will be managed through the production company Scott Free and produced by director Ridley Scott, with Kevin Walsh.

Scott, who will also write the screenplay for the movie, will fulfill this task with David Scarpa, with whom he worked in the 2017 crime thriller All the Money in the World.

Phoenix’s life-giving historical character, Napoleon, led military campaigns during the French Revolutionary Wars. He was emperor of France from 1804 to 1814. He commanded the country in a series of battles before being defeat at Waterloo. Died at Saint Helena in 1821.
