Investigation against Kim Jong-un’s sister

In South Korea, an investigation was launched against Kim’s sister and the North Korean Army Commander. If the couple are found guilty, there is no way of sanction.

South Korean prosecutors launched an investigation against North Korean leader Kim Jong-un’s sister and the North Korean Army Commander.

According to the report of Yonhap, South Korean lawyer Lee Kyung-jae filed a criminal complaint on July 8 about Kim Yo-jong and General Pak Jong-chon about blowing up the inter-Korean liaison office in Kaesong in June.

SYMBOLIC INVESTIGATION

An unprecedented and symbolic investigation was launched by South Korean prosecutors upon the criminal complaint.

Even if Kim and Pak are found guilty in a court in South Korea, there is no way to implement the decision.

North Korea blew up an inter-Korean liaison office building on June 16.

The North Korean Chief of Staff announced on June 17 that it would re-deploy troops to the tourism and industrial zones on the South Korean border and take other steps to override tensions in the region in 2018.

MILITARY ACTION PLANS STOPPED

The Pyongyang administration reported on 24 June that it had suspended “military action plans” for South Korea.

South Korea has reported that the work permits for Free North Korean Warriors and Keunsaem groups who sent brochure balloons to North Korea regarding the leaflet crisis that caused the tension in the region could be revoked.
