Instagram, apologises to Bella Hadid

Instagram removed the photo of Palestinian model, Bella Hadid who shared a page from her father’s passport, instagram apologized to the model, stating that the incident occurred as a result of a mistake.

Palestinian origin, American model Bella Hadid, shared a page showing where his father Mohamed Hadid’s passport came from in the story section of Instagram.

However, Instagram soon removed sharing for “violation of community rules”. The platform added ‘hate speech, harassment, bullying, and violent graphics’ to the rationale.

Famous model has 31.4 million followers, reacted harshly to the platform, she said ‘bullying’ about social media platform.

“Instagram just deleted the photo of the American passport that was written on ‘My Father and his birthplace, Palestine’ from my story.

I wonder which part of my proud of my father’s birthplace; contains bullying, harassment, sexual or nudity?

She asked, Are we not allowed to be Palestinians on Instagram? and She said You cannot erase history by silencing people. This is useless.

Hadid said, “I am proud to be Palestinian. Today everyone should share where his father and mother were born. Remind them how proud you are from where you came from.”

After the support coming to Hadid, Instagram stated that they apologized by accidentally deleting the share of the famous model.
