If Trump is not dismissed, we begin the blame process

President of the US House of Representatives Pelosi; if Trump is not removed from office, we begin the blame process. President of the House of Representatives, Democrat Nancy Pelosi, if Vice President Mike Pence fails to execute President Donald Trump’s impeachment process. Announced that they will start the blame process immediately.

In his letter to the Democrats in the House, President of the House of Representatives Pelosi clarified the method they will follow regarding Trump’s impeachment process, which they blamed for the Congressional raid on January 6.

Pelosi stated that they will raise a bill in Parliament on Monday to allow Pence to initiate the process of impeaching Trump by operating the 25th Annex of the Constitution.

Noting that they will first look at whether the draft will be adopted “unanimously”, Pelosi stated that if unanimity is not achieved, they will vote and accept the draft in the General Assembly of the House of Representatives on Tuesday.

Stressing that the bill will give Vice President Pence a 24-hour period for Trump’s dismissal, Pelosi noted that after this period, they will start Trump’s impeachment process in the Parliament.

In Pelosi’s letter, no details were given on the date on which the vote on Trump’s dismissal could be held, but it is considered certain that the vote will be held before the inauguration ceremony on January 20.

According to US law, in the process of dismissing a president for certain violations, the House of Representatives acts as the prosecutor who impeaches the president, and the Senate acts as a jury that determines whether the president is guilty or not.

On December 18, 2019 at the General Assembly of the House of Representatives, the accusations of “abuse of office” and “obstruction of the functioning of Congress” against Trump were accepted. Trump was cleared of both charges in the Senate vote on February 6, 2020.
