The Italian team Roma, who defeated Young Boys 3-1 in Group A, and England representative Arsenal, who beat Rapid Wien 4-1 in Group B, secured the group leadership.
In the matches played in Group C, Slavia Prague of Czechia defeated Hapoel Beer-Sheva 3-0 and German club Bayer Leverkusen also 3-2.
In Group D struggles, Scottish Rangers beat Standard Liege 3-2, while Portugal’s Benfica team defeated Lech Poznan 4-0.
The match of AZ Alkmaar-Napoli in Group F was 1-1, while the match between Real Sociedad-Rijeka was drawn 2-2.
