At the Emilia-Romagna Grand Prix in Italy, Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton won the race he started in second place.

After winning the Portuguese GP, Hamilton broke the record for the driver with the most races, and with the victory he received, he improved his record to 93.

Hamilton’s teammate Valtteri Bottas, who started the race in first place, took second place. Renault driver Daniel Ricciardio finished in 3rd place.

Mercedes Formula 1 team reached the 7th consecutive championship in the branding category. Thus, the German team became the Formula 1 team with the highest number of champions in the brand category.
