Fired 100 employees who gave false information

Wells Fargo fired 100 misinformation employees to get Covid-19 help.

US bank Wells Fargo fired over 100 employees who gave false information in order to receive money from the fund created to help small businesses.

In an internal email sent by David Galloreese, General Manager of Human Resources, US bank Wells Fargo to bank employees on Wednesday.

As a result of an internal investigation conducted by Wells Fargo, 100 to 125 employees dismissed.

A similar internal investigation made by another US bank, JP Morgan, last September.

In the statement made by the bank, the aid funds created during the pandemic process used maliciously. The bank announced that an investigation initiated on some of its estimated employees.
