Facebook’s matchmaking app launched in 32 more countries

The matchmaking feature of the social media platform, which first announced as part of the F8 Developers Conference in 2018. Facebook Dating is available in 32 more countries.

Facebook, which previously brought to the agenda with the integration of TikTok and Snapchat features into the platform, has recently targeted Tinder.

Developed by the social media giant as a rival to Tinder. The matchmaking service Facebook Dating was launched in the US last year.

Facebook Dating has finally opened to Europe. The feature is available in 32 more countries in Europe.

So how does Facebook Dating work? In dating service, everything is first separated from the main profiles. In other words, you don’t have to use your main profile while using the matchmaking app.

People who use Facebook Dating create new profiles with only their names and can see other users doing the same.

An application that can be integrated with Instagram, another social media platform within Facebook. Does not match you with people on your buddy list.

However, the feature named ‘Secret Crush’ on the platform allows users to choose 8 different Facebook or Instagram friends. These people absolutely do not see that you have chosen them. If they choose you too, Facebook sends a message to these two users informing them of the situation.

Facebook first announced the application in 2018 at the F8 developers conference held in San Jose, California.

One year later, the feature, which became available in the USA, planned to open to Europe on Valentine’s Day, but this plan postponed due to EU regulations.
